How it works
Gemini's Flash tier is one of the cheapest capable models available, which makes it a strong default for high-volume summarization, extraction, and classification.
Very large context requests are convenient but expensive: sending a 500,000-token document on every call costs far more than retrieving the relevant 5,000 tokens.
